6a. Three Cha Cha Chas Back
Three Forward or Backward Locks can be danced progressively in one direction to the counts "4&1, 2&3, 4&1". The figure can be danced in closed position with normal hold, with L to R hand hold, with low double hand hold, or alternating contra hold ("pat-a-cake") or no hold. In the associate levels and above the figure can also be danced in open position with any of the above described holds.
6c. Three Cha Cha Chas Forward in Right Side Position
When danced in right side position, leader and follower will dance three Forward Locks, leader commencing LF and follower commencing RF. A slight turn to L, R and L can be made (follower to R, L, R) alternately on each Forward Lock.
6d. Three Cha Cha Chas Forward in Left Side Position
When danced in left side position, leader and follower will dance three Forward Locks, leader commencing RF and follower commencing LF. A slight turn to R, L and R can be made (follower to L, R, L) alternately on each Forward Lock.
