1. Open Finish
An Open Finish may be danced at any time instead of a Closed Finish. The foot positions then become:
There are many follows to an Open Finish, including figures that move forward, back, or to the side; See follows tab for a complete list. Note that when stepping forward after an Open Finish, step 1 of the following figure will not be taken in CBMP.
- Man/leader: (1) LF to side and slightly forward, then (2) RF fwd in CBMP, OP.
- Lady/follower: (1) RF to side and slightly back, then (2) LF back in CBMP.
